I love "the headband". It feels so magical and warm. It's definitely one of the more laid back, less intense episodes, but somehow it always stood out to me.

2023-06-24 16:00:25 +0000 UTCZuko's bald ponytail look from S1 is apparently a real traditional "mark of shame", so it wasn't his choice. I have no source or proof, just read it somewhere, but in the flashback to before he got burned (1x12 "The Storm", he had a full head of hair with the traditional topknot. Aang was shown shaving his head in 2x15 "Tales of Ba Sing Se" at the very beginning of "The Tale of Toph and Katara", when they are all getting ready for the day.
