Thank you! I think the callings can be interpreted in many ways, but they have this idea of “failing” a calling or misunderstanding them. It’s very hard to tell what the calling wants when it’s as vague as “don’t lose him” who is HIM? what if it’s not even about Jared? I think it’s a good idea to have an open mind about what these callings really mean and sometimes the characters are just misunderstood by the callings. I agree with you about the guy who killed himself. He probably saw callings about how these people would die and didn’t want to continue seeing those deaths being completely powerless to do anything about it. Idk. Callings are weird.
