This is definitely one of my favorite episodes. So good π. When Ronald from the Night Shifter episode from Supernatural is talking about the man droid I always think of this episode.

2021-11-11 14:07:09 +0000 UTCDarin Morgan the writer of this episode also wrote "Humbug" "Clyde Bruckmanβs Final Repose" and "War of the Coprophages" I love all those episodes. He really showed the X-files could be funny and absurd and still be the X-files. This one maybe goes a little too into the absurd for me, I prefer the groundedness of his other three episodes. Still very fun though. Jesse Ventura as the man in black steals the episode. Yes, that Jesse Ventura: WWF wrestler turned actor turned governor as a third party candidate. βI find absolutely no reason why anyone would think you crazy if you described this meeting of ours.β is an all-time great line.
