It was Jadakiss that said “Why did Denzel have to be crooked before he took it?” Denzel said he had to go into therapy after this movie because he had trouble getting out of character. The person he played was based on a real LA cop, who got caught and went to prison. The dudes personality was so strong Denzel said he began to lose himself.
