I love the purgatory trio! What a wonderful mix bag of interactions and the Dean connections really work for him here. The whistling teamwork makes me giddy, he appreciates Dean's Vamp-Pirates and I wish we got more of it! Plus Jensen and Ty had a blast filming together so I love it even more. Jared got the short end of the story stick because they made his character do mental gymnastics to rachet up the drama because he basically forgets he had a brother and was paired with an unlikeable woman written that way so the fans wouldn't get attached. And while I get the whole growth character story beats they meant to hit, it just doesn't land for either of them to be this backbiting after the literal HELL they have both been through.

All these boys do is keep things from each other so I seriously get tired of everyone acting like one brother is the faulted one and it seems to always be Dean's. Doing that really amps up the fact that this story and outlook definitely removes more autonomy from Sam and his life choices then his big brother ever attempted. So let's stop acting like these boys are only one-sided regressing from each other - both need to grow up or move on!
