With the changes from the pilot, you're beginning to get a better feel of what the show is like. The overall plot that is coming is fantastic but the thing that impressed me most about this show is the character development. You've only scratched the surface of the characters so far. If the chemistry between the characters seemed strong in the scene in which Garibaldi tried to flirt with Talia in the elevator, it wasn't all acting. The two actors later married. "How can space be so pretty and so terrifying?" Some of us say that about women, too!

There were some cast changes from the movie as you said, the lt commander, the doctor(who we haven't met yet), and the telepath were changed, there's an in universe explanation for this change concerning the incident with Kosh (but can't say more due to spoilers lol) This episode highlights the conflicts between the Narns and the Centauri Republic, it is a cycle of revenge that can lead to both of their destructions as Kosh said, unless someone breaks that cycle. Also Londo is the best, you can't help but love him lol The part about the telepaths is also an interesting issue because there's no way to tell for a phycnull person if they been scanned so there has to be some kind of regulation/regulatory body for telepaths. But going so far to give suppressant drugs to someone as a way to stay with their family is wrong, so Ivanova's anger is understandable. Idk where I fall on this issue
