That song “brother” he performed at the end has a fan made video that makes me tear up all the time lol it’s mixed with the life and then clips from the show… but Jared was supposed to be at that con too but he had a mental breakdown on set… so he was at home resting and getting better. Anyway Jensen came out and said he was dedicating this song to Jared… and it’s all about loving your brother and being there for them always… and always bringing him home 😢but knowing that he chose that song for Jared always just hits different .

I watched that video a million times when it was first posted to YT. A lot of SPN cast members can sing and have sung at cons. When you get further into the show it would be great to see you react to some of the non-Jensen performances.

The talent from Jensen and a huge number of the rest of the cast over the years is just the delicious icing on top of the cake. Watch him when he sings Brother; it's all about his relationship with Jared and Sam and Dean. For the convention crowds he picks a lot of songs he and his character can identify with. Jensen is all about doing things from the heart. Yeah, I'm in love with him too, but more than that, I respect the hell out of both Jensen and Jared and their dedication over the years to the the fans. Now that you've jumped into the pool, there's no going back. Sure, there's all the stuff that goes on among families like Bobby reminds us of, but you also feel the love and support of our family when you need it most and honestly, there's SO much more to share with you. You truly have just seen the tip of the ice berg. You're going to need a notebook, lol. And that's a good thing😉 Oh hey, did you know he was King of Mardi Gras recently? I loved watching this reaction. It was everything I expected. We've all been there, that pivotal moment when your heart just goes "ping" and that's it; you're not just a Dean girl, you're a Jensen girl (or guy) 💖 Can't wait for more of these behind the scenes reactions. They have been the highlight of some of my drearier days.

There's a YT page that had most of them - where they are edited from all the best footage taken of a performance and made into one video. They're the ones I like to watch, because they have the best overall quality and sound. At least the best of what's available. It's important to give credit to the person who took/edited the videos though. And if someone makes an edit from videos by others, they really should give credit to the source of those videos used in the edit. The links and info I sent you in my DM the other day, gives a summary of Jensen's singing journey at conventions. He's always loved singing, but it's been mostly private, with family and friends. Music is an important part of his life. There's always music playing in the Ackles home. Jensen has formed a group with his long time singer/songwriter friend Steve Carlson. They've been friends for many many years and shared an apartment for a time when they were both starting out. Jensen and steve have worked together on songs for many years. Usually they're songs for Steve though. But now Jensen is working on his own material. The sound they are creating is beautiful. It doesn't have the heavy rock sound like you saw in this video. It's more laid back, like Jensen. Jensen wants the fans to get a good experience when he performs at conventions. He's there to entertain them, so he really wants to put on a good performance for them. He's really come a long way!

Lol, Shelley proceeds to rock out and gush love at my favorite man. Yes, been there, done that...still do that. 😂 Apologies to anyone who reads the rest of this, as I am about to spew a whole lot of information on this topic. I will hold back on some info, but it’s still a lot. 😂🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ If you watch this video again (which I have a feeling you might) pay some attention to the ending of Sweet Home Alabama (the second song). Near the end Jensen called out “missing my brother Jared...”. Well, the sad background is that Jared lives with depression and was supposed to be at that convention, however on the way to Rome he had a setback, started having suicidal thoughts and had to turn around and go back home to be with his family and doctor. In the video, you can tell when Jensen mentions Jared that his eyes start to tear up. He holds it together really well with a smile for the next few lines but then at the very end his smile drops and his voice breaks from all the emotion. 😢 Jensen sings Crazy Love with Jason Manns, a musician/songwriter and now music producer, who Jensen befriended way back when he first went to Hollywood. Jason was in Hollywood after having won some kind of singer/songwriter contest with Ryan Seacrest. Ryan and Jensen used to go to the same house parties and that’s where Jensen and Jason met. They used to just hang out and strum their guitars and sing. Jason sings at every convention and couple years ago produced a country album by Richard Speight, who is from Nashville. Richard Speight and Rob Benedict are the emcees for the conventions. The house band at the conventions is Louden Swain, which is Rob on vocals and guitar, with three other guys on guitar, bass and drums. Rob really has dual careers with acting and with the band. There is a big concert on Saturday nights at the U.S. conventions and Richard will come out and play bass on a few tunes. In the past, Mark Sheppard would sometimes play drums. He has actually had a dual career as a drummer for various bands and as an actor.A lot of actors from the show will sing a song at the concert, sounds good A lot of actors from the show will sing a song at the concert...some good, some not as good. Jensen does not sing at all the conventions, just a few per year. I think it is mainly because of his schedule. He’s usually traveling to the convention on Saturday and wants rest time or at least not to be in the spotlight on Saturday night. I can’t say I am lucky enough to have seen Jensen sing live three times, twice from very far away and once up close. Sigh. Glad you caught the shirt referencing Afternoon Delight. I swear Jensen does this stuff to us on purpose to send our minds into the gutter. Such a tease. 😂

Seeing Crowley on the drums on occasion is always fun, and of course Gabriel and Chuck on guitar. It brings so much more meaning to the show when you know how close the cast is and how much they enjoy being around each other. And don't be embarrassed by your reaction to watching Jensen sing....We have all been there😊

2021-05-14 14:15:15 +0000 UTCYou know I haven’t heard much of him singing, I dunno why, but I feel like, listening him whit someone for moral support its gonna make it easy so here we go, Also, dont know much of his singing career but I do know he sings with “Radio Company” and just got their second album,’and Jensen sings in cons, and yes that was Rob (Chuck) who has a band and they usually (the cast) performs together at cons. I don’t know when it started but I did saw a clip where he’s singing for the first time and it was so cute, he was so shy, he gets better as he lose the tense and relaxed for what I’ve seen “Jensen Ackles making me believe in heaven” preach, truest words has never been spoken, Just finished the video and How is this man real, like damn… give the man a Grammy, an Emmy, an Oscar, everything in between and we’ll be still owing him, ok, im cooling down but seriously amazing As far for watching you falling in love with Jensen, dont worry, we all have been there, great reaction✌🏻
