I agree with your list of favorite characters and least favorite characters. While I only listed Jiminy Cricket/Archie Hopper and August/Pinocchio as my favorites, I agree that I absolutely love Red Riding Hood/Ruby and Grumpy/Leroy too. And I didn't actually list Cora as one of my least favorite characters aside from Sidney Glass/Genie/Magic Mirror and Dr. Whale, I definitely consider her among my least favorites too.
As for our favorite episodes... I love each of the ones you listed too. The Thing You Love Most and The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, and Red Handed are phenomenal, but I didn't want to list every single episode, and if I did, my list would be a lot longer. :) I had to really narrow down which episodes I truly love the most.
And yes... my favorite emotional moment is definitely between Emma and Henry when she gives him True Love's Kiss to save him and to break the curse. Absolutely beautiful. I completely agree with you here, 100%. :)

Thank you so much for that fun & insightful review. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m so glad you have loved watching OUAT & I’m so glad you are looking forward to season 2 as I am excited to see your reactions.
My favorite episodes(listed chronologically just to make it easier to remember them) are the Pilot, Snow Falls, The Thing You Love Most, The Heart is a Lonely Hunter, Red-Handed, Heart of Darkness, The Stranger, An Apple Red as Blood, & A Land Without Magic.
I love so many of the characters but favorites are Emma & Snow/Margaret. I also love Henry & I have from the pilot so I’m so happy he’s your favorite. And like you I like Regina & Gold even though they are villains they’re still wonderful characters played phenomenally by Lana Parrilla & Robert Carlyle. My favorite supporting characters are August, Archie/Jiminy Red/Ruby & Grumpy/Leroy.
I completely agree with you about your least favorite character. I can’t stand Cora. Yes, she is awful to Regina & is a horrible mother. I also don’t like Sydney either.
My emotional moment is also Henry’s “death” & the first time I saw that scene I ugly cried. Even now no matter how many times I’ve seen it I still get very emotional. Although I knew there was no way they’d kill Henry off I still was so devastated like you were. Your reaction to his “death” had a profound effect on me. I was also emotionally effected by Graham’s death too. I was so upset when they killed him. I loved Graham & was hoping he & Emma could’ve been a couple. But I was so excited to see him in A Land Without Magic so I loved your reaction when you saw him.
Thank you for your wonderful reactions to season one & I can’t wait till you start season 2 to continue on this “magical” journey.

Thank you so much for making this fun and entertaining review for the first season of Once Upon a Time!! I really enjoyed watching this, and finding out just what you loved about this season. And I am so happy that you do love this show so far just from its first season.
First of all... as far as my favorite characters go, among each of the major characters, I absolutely love both Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold, as well as Regina/The Evil Queen, Henry, Prince Charming, and Snow White. And while Rumplestiltskin is the most intriguing, clever, and entertaining character, played by a phenomenal actor... my favorite major character is Emma Swan. I absolutely love her overall storyline with being the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, and the Savior destined not only to break the Evil Queen's dark curse, but to bring back everyone's happy endings too. I love her strength and conviction Emma continuously shows throughout the season, but I also love the moments when she appears most vulnerable. And even when she feels weak and helpless, Emma still fights to protect others because she's grown to care about and has become close to everyone in town... especially Henry and Mary Margaret.
As for my favorite among the non major characters... I love both Archie Hopper/Jiminy Cricket and August W. Booth/Pinocchio. I love both of their characters and their overall storylines, and consider their storylines to be among my favorites throughout season one. I love how gentle and good Archie is towards everyone in town and how he yearns above all else to follow his conscience so that he can help them. I especially love Archie's relationship towards Henry, and the moment he finds the strength to stand up to Regina for Henry's sake. As for August... I love how he's in Storybrooke all for Emma in hope of getting her to come to believe in magic and to discover the truth. I absolutely love the whole mystery behind who he really is, in spite of it taking until the very end of the season for us to find out he's really Pinocchio, and the seven year old boy who claimed to have found Emma as a baby. And the moments in the end, first between him and Henry in An Apple Red As Blood, then in A Land Without Magic between him and Emma... beautiful and heartbreaking.
As for my least favorite characters... for me I have to say it's a tie between both Sidney Glass/the Genie of Agrabah and Dr. Whale, whose true identity has yet to be revealed. First... with Sidney, while I love the twist on how he becomes the Magic Mirror from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, I really don't care a whole lot that he was originally a genie, especially if he is actually meant to be the Genie from Disney's Aladdin and 1001 Arabian Nights/Ali Babba and the Forty Thieves, etc... For me, Sidney is weak and I hate how easily manipulated he is by Regina, even though I again really liked the twist back in Fruit of the Poisonous Tree when it's revealed that Sidney was really working for Regina the whole time. I hate that Sidney does whatever Regina asks of him without question, and how he even goes so far to please her... that he takes the blame for kidnapping Kathryn and still loves Regina despite knowing she has never and will never love him in return. And as for Whale... I just feel that through the end of season one, he's a weak and boring character. He has a few funny moments here and there, but not enough to make me care much about him one way or another. I also agree with you about Cora. While she makes for a good villain because she's so evil, I really hate her too. Her love for her daughter is twisted and scary, in the worst of ways.
Now, as for my overall favorite episodes... Again, I have a really hard time choosing one absolute favorite and even five episodes. Because I love them all, especially as a whole. However, my favorites throughout season one, in no particular order are... the Pilot, Snow Falls, That Still Small Voice, Heart of Darkness, The Stranger, An Apple Red As Blood, and A Land Without Magic. I love them all for different reasons of course, and mostly for the character development shown throughout them. I love seeing all of the fairytale characters we know and love brought together in one show. I love seeing Snow White's and Prince Charming's love story expanded on in spite of what little I did dislike involving their storyline as David and Mary Margaret in Storybrooke. I love that we're given an original and unique origin story for Jiminy Cricket. I love seeing a dark side to Snow until Charming saves her by proving to her why he loves her so she can be her true self again. I love the big reveal with August's character. And lastly... I love the two part season finale for bringing Emma to her moment when she shines bright and finally accepts the truth about magic, the curse, and her family, and that she becomes the Savior and breaks the curse because she loves and believes in Henry. It's all so beautiful.
As for my least favorite episodes... While I do love them all, if I had to choose any least favorites, they would be Fruit of the Poisonous Tree because I don't care as much for Sidney's overall story, and Hat Trick, because while I do love Jefferson and his storyline overall with him being the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland, I feel like some of his story could have perhaps been done a little differently. I loved his scenes with Emma as he talks about his curse being able to remember the truth and how he talks about other worlds... some being with magic and others being without. I just felt that some of his backstory seemed a little strange, and that his character in Storybrooke within this episode alone seemed a little too much like a serial killer, which was a little off putting to me.
Overall... I absolutely love this show and I am truly loving watching your reactions for each episode, allowing me to watch them again with you as you watch them for the first time. So, thank you so much! I cannot wait for you to begin season two!!! Things are heating up and it won't be long before you will become introduced to my overall favorite character throughout the entire show! I'm so excited for what's to come!!! So until then, my friend... :)
