I love me some meaty character stuff! Really good Reaction. I can see that you and I have the same viewpoints on most of the episodes. A So-So episode/monster is made better by the acting and main character development bits. This episode really struck with me when I first watched it. We actually got to see Dean opening up to his brother. Our boy's changing. Growing. But hurting too. And that made my heart hurt as well. Jared and Jensen do a really good job of making their characters come to life. So when Dean cries, I cry. He's always trying to be the strong one. The Older Brother. But Sammy is there for him now. He's an adult now and can now be there for his brother too. And maybe Dean is getting that now. It just means so much more when Dean gets the Feels. Makes me just want to give him a big hug. Which he'd likely hate. lol Jensen is so good at totally letting himself become the character he's playing. He's feeling what Dean is feeling. He's said this at conventions. And he and Jared are really close in real life, so that totally helps them "get there". Jensen said that after this scene he had to go "walk it off". His boy didn't know he was "acting". Oh, Jared actually did break his hand. So when you see a cast on Sam, it's real. Jared broke his hand and needed to wear it for a while.

This is a really good season even better than the first one. You've got some amazing episodes coming your way. i'm very excited for you to see where this story is headed.
