I really enjoyed this episode. I actually have a glass trivet with the SPN anti-possession symbol on it that says “I hope your apple pie was freaking worth it!” Lol

That’s a perspective/parallel that I never thought of before with this episode, that the older generation constantly tells the younger generation what they have to sacrifice for the greater good. And I love that you bring a perspective that I don’t necessarily agree with, too. From what I’ve seen of your reactions, I think there are a lot of things that I wouldn’t outright agree with you about, but I love hearing your side and I especially love hearing it in context with the story. I had never actually drawn the parallel between the scarecrow story and the finding John story, how Sam was just like Emily in a deep sense, and I’m so glad you saw that, because now I can see it and think about it. You bring so much to my experience with supernatural and I love it so much. Thank you!
