2024-11-12 21:54:31 +0000 UTCThere’s no way he decided by himself to leave BT sport imo, they definitely let his contract run out and didn’t extend when they rebranded to TNT, given that he was unanimously despised by viewers. His ego just didn’t allow him to say it, when he was phased off premier league coverage he claimed it was because he demanded to spend more time with his family (despite jumping at the chance to do champions league midweeks all over Europe when Lineker left). I wish nothing but the worst for him
