2019-09-10 06:24:39 +0000 UTCHi! Please, try to open application by right click->open and report me if the problem is solved. It's the gatekeeper security feature which makes application run in a sandboxed read-only container. And it prevents the application from updating. I'm developing on Mac OS Mojave and have not encountered such a problem.
