Bleach is a great example! I remember watching that when I was young when it came out! Ichigo doesn't look 15 there at all lmao, but this has been a clear Anime trope for a while now. I'm personally not too bothered by it, the older I get the more humorous it is after all XD With our generation, since we grew up with Shonen basically, I just understand fanart and the game fans and artists will have to play, throwing asterisk disclaimers all over the place and whatnot, especially if there are popular characters and requests they would have to adjust to. And thank you letting me know about Zom 100, I've seen one ad on it and it actually intrigued me!

2024-01-17 02:15:31 +0000 UTCI believe most of the time they look older like that is mostly because of the artstyle and appeal, if you've ever seen bleach for example he looks WAY older than 15, but stuff like naruto and my hero have them look more realistic to their age, also different age of consent in japan and what not, a recommendation though for seinen if your interested is zom 100 that's really good
