General Status Update - July 2022

To make sure everyone is on the same page I decided to make a post updating people as to what is going on and various changes I'm making.

WHERE IS (x) VIDEO?

• Skyrim - 11/11/22, currently still on schedule
• Starfield - Bethesda has yet to actually announce a release date beyond "2023"
• Outer Worlds - If time permits, before November.  Otherwise, December 2022
• Fallout 76 - If time permits, December 2022.  Otherwise, after OW but before Starfield releases
• Elite: Dangerous - Cancelled
• World of Warcraft Liminal Spaces Meme - Indefinite Delay, will likely be cancelled
• Any Anime Video I've Ever Talked About Making - side projects, likely struck while the iron is hot

As of now through November, side projects are not guaranteed but done at will where time permits.  I am of the mind that I won't immediately jump into another giant project following Skyrim, just so I can focus on covering more topics.  Some of my best videos are stuff I just decided to do one night.

DISCORD

I am switching Patron roles back to the public server.  Despite how many of you have linked accounts, the patron server was rarely used.  That's mostly my fault for not trying harder to stir up conversations on it.  We may circle back to the idea if the main server ever becomes too big.  

Patrons are given image/embed perms in general again, which in my opinion improved the server immensely last time that policy was in place.  If you have thoughts about Discord feel free to comment.

CREDITS

I am changing the credit rules just because they are annoying to deal with.  I'm not doing opt-in/opt-out anymore.  It just slowed things down to have a finished video that I need to remember not only to add credits to, but make sure everybody on the list wants to be there.  

I don't know if there is a large demand for being able to donate to and be in the credits of one creator, but to not appear in my credits.  It sounds very niche and what I've done on my own is just use a name that is vague.  

Please message me if you are in that niche and can't be in credit sequences because you are a federal informant, but bear in mind that I, up to this point, have been using unread messages in order to keep track of credit preferences because Patreon does not, and I do not want to keep a local spreadsheet with your information in it.

To summarize: if you are an active patron when I finish a video, your name will be in the credit roll.  I will use your username, whatever it is, unless I need to change it.  If it's really important you don't appear then just message me but make sure your request is the first thing in the message.
