Skyrim Status Update #2
Added 2022-02-01 04:54:25 +0000 UTCI apologize for not writing sooner as I generally intend these updates to be bi-monthly. The first big update is that I have translated my physical composition notebook into both Premiere and the script. This is in the format of timestamps directly into the footage, which is useful for keeping track of exactly what happened, and will also be a boon when it comes to editing.
As for the script, the word count currently sits at 80k. I don't consider raw word count to be an entirely useful metric. The goal isn't to have as big a word count as possible, which is why I don't do weekly word quotas or anything like that. For reference, the final Oblivion script is sitting at 135k words. I'm currently in the midst of the main quest, which is the 7th section of the script out of 11.
If you read through the Oblivion Status Updates, you'll see that between January and April 21st I was writing. It is a long and rather unsexy process. Now, of course, the time table is moved up slightly, so I seriously doubt I'll still be writing come April. Since I don't really have any big projects planned until Elden Ring comes out, I may get to spend February working on just the Skyrim video.
Long story short: I consider the Skyrim project to be proceeding well, considering the interruptions of the holidays and having had COVID

Hei, you do you and take the time you need. I am really looking forward to this one as i enjoyed the morrowind and oblivion video very much. I think the quality of those videos came from the focus on the quality of the conent and not the speed of production. There is too much hurried content on youtube and i would much rather wait until you are happy with the result, than getting it ealier.
