nicFW900 V4.00.14
Added 2025-05-23 06:37:59 +0000 UTCSome settings defaults adjusted in SPI App.
Cosmetic fixes, large channel name scanning fix, scope frequency placement.
ASL COS System implemented.
Channel editor uses 'TX Power' drop down instead of a number.
Removed 'TX Current' feature (not feasible with this hardware).
Added battery ADC level readout to debug dump.
Comments
I just use the defaults, 53 ceiling and 38 trigger.

2025-05-24 01:58:12 +0000 UTCAlso, this release comes with key tones on by default and if you have any active reception, it will stop once you open the menu. In case people are wondering why is probably because of the key tones.

2025-05-23 10:03:01 +0000 UTCI’ve been testing the new software for over 24 hours now, and I have to say it’s performing phenomenally. I haven’t noticed any frequency drift, and the scanning works really well. Today I’ll install the new version, and I hope it’ll be just as stable as the last one.

2025-05-23 07:10:09 +0000 UTCLooking good. Only thing I see is that when writing the settings, it sets Squelch and DTMF Speed to 0 after every write no matter what you have it set to. You can manually change them on the radio and they save after a reboot. All other settings write correctly.
