came to say the same thing :) Also, additional signifiers for selection (bouncing text that scales up and down or changing the outline/dropshadow color as well, or both really, have demoed games at shows a fair bit, it's amazing how dumb people can be about knowing which is selected. Of course I say that but every time I watch something on apple tv I get actually angry because I can never tell the 10% the bump the show icon to tell you it's selected is indistinguishable w/no outline, highlight, etc) lol
