BrowserAssist v1.11 & UIAssist v2.9
Added 2023-02-08 14:00:47 +0000 UTCAnother dual release of BrowserAssist and UIAssist which implements further integration between these two plugins.
UIAssist changes:
- PATREONS ONLY: For all Preset loading, there is an additional option to chose a file by launching BrowserAssist. When the operation is triggered, a BrowserAssist window appears to filter and select a resource of the specific type. Requires at least BrowserAssist v1.11 to be loaded as a Session plugin.
- Bug fix: Resolved issue causing a crash on uiap load where the 'SavePreset' toggle was true on an Empty button operation. This only occured where a button had been changed from a Preset Save function to an 'Empty' button operation.
- Bug fix: resolved an issue with toggle buttons and the 'user chosen' target atoms setting. These stopped working when a new scene was loaded.
- Bug fix: resolved an issue with 'Merge Clothing Presets' operation that was causing VAM basic clothing items to load. This only manifested since VAM v1.21.x
- Bug fix: resolved an issue with Teleport player in Desktop resulting in titled camera views if height was set higher than 0
- Bug fix: Unload all plugins operation wasnt working when save/restored from uiap
- Bug Fix: DecalMaker operations were causing an error on target atoms with no plugins loaded
BrowserAssist changes:
- Option (in plugin setting) for Tag data (and other meta data) of Packaged resources to be maintained even when the containing VAR is missing. This is intended to support VARManager plugins which remove VARs temporarily and then re-instate them later. Manual deletion of VARs using the BrowserAssist delete function will purge meta data, even if this setting is enabled.
- BrowserAssist now reads the created and modified dates of files directly which give a mores accurate sorting of files by New and Updated dates. This is particularly useful for non-packaged (i.e. Local) files.
- VAR Content rescans can be manually triggered from the Info page of each resource or from the Plugin UI under General Settings. This is different to the normal scan performed on startup (or the top right button on the filters). The normal scans do not check for changed VAR content. For the most part VARs are considered to be immutable (i.e. cant change) but its possible for users to unpack VARs and add or remove resources. Where this occurs, a manual content rescan needs to be triggered.
No changes to the HubThumbnails VAR. but it's re-included in the attachments for completeness (it provides thumbnail images for common plugins if placed in the AddonPackages folder). Also no changes to the UIAssist Getting started guide, but reattached for completeness.
