UIAssist v2 Announcement
Added 2021-10-22 11:02:35 +0000 UTCI have started a major re-vamp of the UIAssist code base. UIAssist v1.x evolved over 18 months with incremental features being repeatedly bolted on. During that time my understanding of VAM and Unity coding has also evolved. The existing code base has reached a point where adding significant new features (being requested by users) was increasingly untenable.
UIAssist v2.x should allow new advanced features such as multi-function buttons (i.e. a single button press can execute multiple of the current functions) and an improved and intuitive button configuration user interface.
It is an extensive piece of work to complete delivery of v2, but I have already made a good start (e.g. a completely new and more efficient uiap storage format) and I'm now building the new UI. As a result there maybe a few months where I am unable to make plugin releases to focus on this work. I'll endeavour to keep updating on progress here.
I greatly appreciate the continued support of my Patrons! Initial beta releases of 2.x will be for Patrons only.

OK thank you for the offer - I'll bear it in mind. Giving the new 2.x a really thorough test will be invaluable.

2021-10-23 08:51:27 +0000 UTCOh! For example steering UIA-specific commands (UIA cmds that act on UIA itself), like "switch page", from "the outside" (sry, forgot the proper name). With a voice command, for example: "Page 1", "Page Cumcloths" ... We could build our own, custom userinterfaces, without have to pester you to code our ideas for us. UIA has some unique, powerful functions - it'd be great if it could really PLAY with the other plugins & triggers, instead of just triggering them. Am I making sense?
