I really would have loved it if you guys spoke to the more genre-specific details of John Wick 3 a little more. It's my opinion that the action sequences improve with each film, even if the rest of the experience becomes more stale and repetitive. We're bringing back the Chinese inspired, slick, very choreographed shootouts. We're adding this fresh new level of authenticity with the training and the way weapons are portrayed on film. We're continuing to blur the lines between shoot em' ups and martial arts films. There's a shift in action movies about every 10 years and John Wick (along with this whole stuntman-turned-director movement) is playing a huge part in influencing that shift.
