Hey Everyone!
Here it is... the Crested Gecko!! It's been a little while since I've made a new lizard! The Crestie is possibly my most requested design, so I'm really excited to finally be able to release one.
This design comes with two separate snap-fit tail options. In reality, Crested Geckos drop their tails quite easily, and unlike many other lizards... theirs don't grow back. As a result, there are many many cresties out there without tails. I wanted that to be an option for my model too, so you can print either the full tail or the little nub. Even better, print both! If your crestie's tail has an accident, you can swap it out for the nub. haha.
Here's a little walkthrough video of the model's features.
Happy Printing!
Matt
Pictured Models are printed in...

3D PRINTING SETTINGS
Body: Print-In-Place. (So far I do not see a need for custom brims, but let me know if you feel they would help. note: generating brims in-slicer can make final cleanup a bit more work.)
Head: Snap-Fit to Body. Pre-Supported for easy printing. No additional support needed.
Full Tail: Print-in-place. Snap-fit to Body
Nub Tail: Print-in-place. Alternate tail option. Snap-fit to Body
5-15% Infill.
3 Walls.
This has been test printed as low as 60% with full articulation, on a well calibrated printer. The "full tail" is the part most likely to fail at small sizes, so if you go with the "nub" it can likely scale down even further. YMMV
Here is a quick video showing the easiest method for snap-fitting the head onto the body: https://youtu.be/P9llZj7NBvs?t=57
