Japan Tips/Hacks #1: Claw Machines🕹️🧸

A lot of you are planning to visit Japan, so I thought I could give you some tips and hacks. Maybe I should make this into a series?😆
I was walking by a game center the other day and saw an attendant helping someone playing a claw game🕹️💕
Did you know that in Japan, you can ask the staff to place the prize you want somewhere where it’s easier for you to grab?
There’s no need for you to struggle when you play these games😆
Here’s how you can do it:
If the prize you want is hard to reach or buried underneath the other prizes, find and attendant and say “suimasen”.
You can either say “help”, “help please”, or “tetsudatte kudasai” (if you want to try speaking Japanese). Then motion them to follow you.
Point at the prize you want, and the staff should get the idea😆 if you want, you can say “more easy”, or “kantan please” and they should get the idea😆
The staff will place the prize somewhere easy for you to grab so that you can save your coins for more games😆💕🧸👾
Don’t forget to thank them and say arigato gozaimasu💕
