May 2023 Painting Challenge!

Hey everyone!

First of all, we wanted to make this challenge different, but we ended up changing our minds because next month we'll be celebrating our 2 years of existence, therefore we will leave the special challenge for next month.

That being said, we'll have a more streamlined challenge again, with only ONE mixed category. Only pieces following this specs will be allowed:

75 MM scale for medium sized pieces

OR

32 MM scale only for Large, Huge or Gargantuan minis

OR

Busts

In other words, only bigger stuff this time! Read the specifics below.

🚨 RULES: PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY! 🚨

● 01. Only pieces from our most recent bundle will be valid (The Eternal Storm - May 2023)

● 02. There will be ONLY ONE CATEGORY in which subscribers will be able to enter as stated above with one of these options:

75 MM scale for medium sized pieces
OR
32 MM scale only for Large, Huge or Gargantuan minis
OR
Busts

👉 PS.: Can you enter with a 75 MM scale large, huge or gargantuan piece or any other medium sized that is not presupported? Be my guest! You'll have to upscale it by 234% and support it yourself though.

👉 PS. 2: Base Size is different from Scale. Base size is related to the character size, being 25 mm (medium), 50 mm (large), 75 mm (huge) or 100 mm (gargantuan).THEY ARE ALL BY DEFAULT IN 32 MM SCALE (with the exception of some heroes and NPCs, which are presupported in 32 mm and 75 mm scale).

👉 PS. 3:  Since it's only one category, you can submit multiple pieces to the challenge if you want (but you can't win twice). For example, if you painted the Kraken, a bust and a 75 MM hero, you can submit all three to the challenge, and they'll all be in the same category.

● 03. Yes, custom bases are allowed!

● 04. The prizes? Oh yes, custom minis are back.

▸ 🏅 CHOSEN BY US: a full custom 32 mm STL hero or villain (25 mm base / medium sized). That's right. You'll brief our concept artists and we'll do it in our style and launch it as an extra in July Release. That's not all: you'll also get an old full release from us that you don't have!

● 05. The deadline will be May 28th (sunday) at 11 pm PST (ATTENTION TO THE TIMEZONE!)

● 06. You'll have to send us 6 pictures of your painted mini to hello@flesh-of-gods.com. Use "FOG MAY PAINTING CHALLENGE" as your subject line and don't forget to add your information in the email (name, subscriber email, Discord username and Instagram account if you have one).

● 07. Sending the pics by email is MANDATORY (we’ll only consider what’s there) but of course you can also post it in your Instagram account while also tagging us (@flesh.of.gods) with the hashtag #fogpaintingchallenge.

● 08. Important: this time we’ll be allowing minor edits such as cropping, color balance, bright/contrast, light adjustments, etc. But try to always take the best possible photo beforehand and only use minor edits afterwards!

● 09. The winners will be announced on June 5th (right after the release of our next bundle)! Community will be allowed to vote before the final result (we'll provide a link on Discord), so we'll have both winners in the same day.

● 10. Having fun is part of the rules. Don't be shy if you're a begginer and join us!
