2024-04-09 18:19:16 +0000 UTCOther possibilities--unknown where they fall in the rankings of probabilities--include Pia simply slipping (based on the 'boot at the edge' and 'small rocks falling' scenes in #224. Plus the fact that the vertical rocks in that strip's last panel may not be as far down from the edge as it appears, due to perspective. And then in today's strip, Ms C's horrified look and abrupt turn away may possibly mean 'gotta get help!.' And I may be overanalyzing things, fer sure.

You could pretend before, tell yourself you were anything other than what you are, but now you have no choice but to face the truth. Sure, you can still lie to everyone else, but never again to yourself. Now you can live with what you are, and live in fear of the consequences it shall bring you. I really hope Pia is ok in the end. She deserves so much more than to be the victim of this monster's crisis
