Progress Info (not update)

Greetings,

Yes, a progress update already. Or, progress info, rather.

So, as I've mentioned before, the next update will be a short one, closing out the intro portion of the game before the real action begins. And honestly, I would've probably already been done with the update by now, or at least really close to finishing it. That said, I am currently really far away from that. Let me explain.

If you followed the progress updates, you know that there is a thorn in my eye: These old SD1.5 pictures. The plan was to update a few monster girls/scenes per update until all of them are done, but I've changed my mind yet again. As I updated a few monster girls for the next update, I realized one thing: It's FUN AS FUCK! :D So, I decided to update all SD1.5 pictures right now and include them with the next update. That's every single picture from the start of the game up to and including Marissa's intro... A lot, yes. So far, I've updated all monster girl pics from the Tundra, the Forestlands, and the Coral Reef, and also a few from the lab and the casino. After all of them are done, I'll rework the bgs, which should go much faster as I don't care too much about the details there. Then, the sexytime pics, and finally, the dialogue box facial expressions. At my current speed, I'm estimating all of this to take 2 months.

And now, here are the advantages of this approach:

Also, it will make progress updates a lot simpler for me as I can just present you with some updated monster girls, which I will do right now.

Sometimes, the pose will be kept, and sometimes monster girls will get an entirely new picture. I'm really happy with how things turned out and are turning out, honestly. I mean, just look at the grassplower! Seriously, you guys can have all the supermodels in this world, I'll take that thing :D

So yeah, we'll be stuck in rework purgatory for a bit, only that it's a positive thing. Also, I maaaaaaay have another surprise coming your way, but we'll see how my plans work out.

Until next time!

I wasn't fully convinced that it would be worth it, not seeing that new grassplower changed my mind!
