I've been ITCHING for another progress update, so here it is.

Alright, let's start this one with something quite serious actually. Remember what Mili said? There are two sides to the monster girl coin, paradise and misery. So far, we've seen the coin shift a few times towards the dark side, but this update will be the first time where it will make a complete flip. Because of this, I feel compelled to give you a content warning: If you can't handle dark content well (depressing content, disturbing content, graphic violence, etc.), PLEASE turn back! I actually mean that, this game was always meant to turn really dark at certain points in the story, and this will be the first instance where it might hurt pretty badly. Or, maybe that's just me because I have such strong feelings for my creations? Still, though, this update WILL be pretty messed up. And, it's just the beginning. We are approaching the finale of the intro, which will crank up the disturbance scale big time, so again: If you want to truly strap into this ride, you should be prepared for some darkness.

Alright, now the juicy part: Where are we currently in the dev cycle? I FINALLY finished all the dialogue pictures which went... Pretty smoothly, actually. All AI models behaved nice and well here. Given the size of the update, I also had to use ink and paper to plan it out, which I have only done with the free-roam lab update so far. It won't be as confusing, but I still feel bad for all achievement hunters... We ARE in the Casino, after all, so you will need pure luck. Rip.

So, what's next? I'm currently making the backgrounds for in between the encounters, also there is quite some musical stuff to do, especially Marissa's theme which I haven't even started with yet. But, since the update is linear, coding won't be too much trouble. I think it will be smooth sailing from now on.
