This was not a small month for us. We finalized our first major release! I think we took a huge step from the dev preview and even from the 0.9.0 version.
But we know there is still a lot to do. I think most people will wonder which direction the game takes now. Some parts I can disclose, but will go to detail later when the features are getting implemented and details are more clear.
System - Money
Money will be important in Terror. For both the light and the dark path. And there will be more than one way to earn it. Like in the real word at some point you need to invest it to make some extra. But for that you need to put in labor first!
Constitution is an attribute that will determine your energy a day. Or in simpler terms, how long you can work.
Dexterity will shorten the time of work.
There is much more to come there, but I will leave it with a note. The goal is not to make a grindfest, but something that plays into the strength of the story and overall gameplay.
System - Time
For the system to work, we need a time system. Meaning a 24 hour clock that moves. We are currently implementing that. After certain time the scenery will change from morning into midday etc. As you can already see through the freeroam preview.
And speaking of time, our goal is to at the very least make one more major update this year (0.2.0).
GUI
We know we will improve on this quite a bit still.. There are quite a few things that will continued to be worked on for the next 1-3 updates and some things we need to figure out. But other things I already like quite a lot, like this slightly adjustable phone case with Melissa as background.

Patreongoals
Still trying to figure out a way to make concrete goals that matter. I adjusted them, because I was afraid it would lead to paths being underdeveloped if goals were not met. I rather the game takes longer, but we will be able to make it as good as possible.
Your support will continue to have a positive effect, on the side you chose.
I do hope that the numbers on both sides will pick up in the future and will give my best to make it happen. Including making this post, as an exception, for everyone.
Current work
Writing is in the focus for the next chapter at this point. We've had over 33k words, over 900 renders and animation for 0.1.0. We'll see how big the next update gets. It is a bit different, as 0.1.0 was mostly in the format of a visual novel to explain the basic story. Now we are working with a map, interaction points. story development. We will definitely have to test some things out further in development.
The system is being coded, with priority over the discord bots. Game first.
Locations are being designed, see render on top (Clothing store). Yes we do design quite a lot ourselves.
We'll finish the patreon pages in October.
And we are working on some other things as well, but it's too early to tell. Summarized, we are giving the game the love it deserves.
