2021 look back

This was a very interesting year for us, we finally had our first release. 

But where exactly were we a year ago?
It was always important to me, that I am not the only one that is capable of something. I've seen creators like Icstor, who had a burnouts. Many projects were closed down because the creator either didn't get success fast enough, or wasn't able to continue.
I want to do better than that, because I am not the only person concerned with this project, so is every one of you.
That is why, a year ago, I was still training others, without making a sound.

As you can see, that was a far cry from being good enough for the projects I've had in mind. 

So I continued to teach (and train) and they continued to train. 

What do you think about the menu screen of Hello World? I probably shouldn't state that this might be my favorite part of the game...I've wasted quite a few minutes on that screen, just listening.

So where are we now?
A lot further.


We have improved in modelling, rendering, lightning, writing, coding, communications and documented each important process. Not everything is perfect though. While things always can improve, some things I want to point out.
Animation as a topic is something where we currently lack. Some small animations were in Hello World and I've added some small test animations (as bonus of this post), but I believe we will eventually be able to do much better.
Communication still has to improve vastly, this includes discord, the benefits here for different tiers and more.
Speed, more is always better.

But we didn't just improve ourselves, we released Hello World and a Christmas Special of our coming game Terror.
