Year Retrospective, December projects, and News

Hello comrades! Warfare again!

reaching the end line of the this year, and really honestly its maybe not bad idea to look a bit back of a series of problems what happened in the trans course of this year what somewhat affected the ratio of my model output

starting in January when i decided to inscribe in a 3D Animation course in a School called Image Campus in my country, the expectations where high and i did it for first hand experience begin professionally instructed into something completely outside of my comfort zone,

also real intentions was to Honestly be way more social, , get outside weekly and meet in first hand people really experienced in the industry as well my school mates  where probably will be experience people as me in other areas of visual arts

with that in mind i decided the rest that month after the production of Carmelita model just to rest, sadly was a whole month compromised of several really painful weeks with several of my teeths breaking at same time what prevented me practically just enjoy to be alive XD
and plus side all the knowed dentist went to vacations at same time

When the month done i was better but i needed to start the next project, it was Blaze the cat, at the same month i had to move from the old departament to a new and more cozy one where i can had better access to the transports to go the the college, febrary was a busy month since daily was looking for a new rent departament and until i found it was 2 weeks callin, looking departments and comparing several other data to see wich one its more convenient, for luck i find an almost perfect one where im currently in and i hope live here for a couple of years more.

In March Freya Project Started and i was really hyped for it, still one of my favorite creations and one of the first Poll Winner character

However in mid of march the First chases of COVID-19 started and my whole country went on quarentine
and the course went Fully virtual clases throwing to the window all my social plans :)

at least i learned the fundamentals and knowledge needed to do some basic animations during this year but alot of stuff demotivated me

the first of all was the whole situation of the COVID thing somewhat affected me since was kinda 6 months of full obligatory confinement and was kinda 2 months of not seeing my family or friends and the whole scenario too turned down a bit my will, my step-father could work and was kinda the main income to my family, for luck that wasn't an issue but yeah was the fear of him loosing his job

I tried to keep most of my mood up for my main income source patreon and the model proyects, however the animation course drained me most of my free time and had to expend 3 or 4 days of the week to present the animations to the curse... and on the top of that... im shit animating,.... plus i had to do all in Autodesk Maya a program what in all my years studing, learning, fighting with tons of other programs or games i never be

nothing made me Ragequit so much as Maya did, and Garbage piece of program who destroyed all my confidence every time i tried to open it, that lead into a procrastination when tried to finish the animations, what leaded to delays, what leaded on presenting not just the animation homework kinda late too draining these 4 days at week from my modelling tasks, leaded in the average time to Finnish an project more than it used to ... like 1 month and half rather of the 3 Week average of the past year,
leading in several "free" weeks i taked during this year ended wasted tried to finish my Anim course stuff and leading to more procrastination, all my time where i tried to invest to learning rigging in blender went away because i had to do something in a program where i feel it literally hated me
at some point was making something like grabbing or selecting an finger can lead to a total crash and missing all the progress of the last hours or the constant corruption of my save files in a completle unacceptable frecuency
in the beggining of november i requested some month to rest and i tried to finish all my task but the course added more of them and more complex, when in mid of the rouge proyect i had 2 choises,halt the rouge proyect until the course finish or focus on my anim thing (what will last until december 11)

My head, Body and my will said you cant finnish this... and i decided to listen them..
i stopped to worry on the animation and put all my efforts to rouge for sake of my sanity and honestly i didnt had a good time. most of my resulst dont worth to show it to anyone, my own expectations was crushed with my lack of practice and skills on it and resulted into something really mood  killer during the year,
and even worse all the pandemic thing, the hostile enviroment, the tecnicall issues with the clases itself and stay 4 hours of pure attention in the screen where the 80% of that time where the correction of ther guys work where was far better than me (most camed from 2d animation) so my self steem wasnt really good too to keep going and not gonna reemplaze something what take years of practice in just a couple of months, time what i didnt had and maya was a real bitch with my experience and i hope NEVER touch that garbage program ever again and gosh i started with blender when it was 2.5 with any tutorial

more of all that i fell bad to fail and delay so much this year

seems pretty low for the montly model promise in a whole year and i want to apologies about that, my plans didnt went as i expected and that affected me emotionally aswell in scholar and laborally speaking.
time what i dont consider "wasted" but lots of things dragging the flow of my current work with not an solid result bothers me a lot, i know what the world its actually on fire but gonna speak of that later,

mi gonna to speak with the Image Campus administrative to see how to resolve this issue and i dont wanna have problems with the institute  itself because i have plans to still studying other areas in the 3D environment but OUTSIDE OF MAYA therms, for now, but i will decide that in mid of the next year
for now i wanna focus in the thing where i am passionate right now

DECEMBER!

-For this month will be Freya Crescent model getting free as the free release planned period
also will take some days until will be available in SFMLAB

-I will slowly apply some of the things what i was learning in blender into rigging to implement it in Alilkira and finish her Update for SFM

the most stereotypical kind of cliche character aspect know today, and cyborg bunny will be the next proyect wil plannings to start the 6 of December, in the middle im planned to experiment with some conceptual sketches to prevent redesign the model dozens of times like alilkira

im gonna post all them when i finish draw all pieces what i need in a dedicate post of her explaining the objectives of this OC creation

She will be another HAZARD CORE character in line of Alilkira, WAF troops and Foxes, And all other lore related characters, i wanted to give a productive break and working for something for my own, more specifically a bit more complex character what will require take out of the box more tricky things to make it work what can be useful for future proyects like body modularity and Corrective shapes keys for gestures

She will be A Patreon model for all November and forward patreons, and probably will be finished in End of December, maybe beginning January  

later gonna mention the projects of the next year, first we need to survive this last month at least XD!

this year was a hell of ride for the whole world,  i wanna give huge thanks to EVERYONE here, Me and my family are really thankful for all the support really helped all us on this really rough days and im Infinitely thankful of that too, i know my work aren't enough to repay all they financial as well the HUGE love i was getting during all these months who helped me alot for find strength to myself,

and i wanna give a commemorative Thanks to anyone out there who was into the essential worker class who are in the front line during these darker days, medics, scientist, factory workers, Sanitary workers, and even the guys who do delivery  or are into the shipping services and a tons of other workers, thanks you for not letting this world succumb in the chaos and ignorance, thanks for all them for the colossal strength of continuing despite all this harsh world an the cruel people living on it Keep strong fellas and i wish all luck and good health to all your beloved ones and huge respect to those who aren't with us anymore
