Hello comrades! A new month and a new way to keep all in motion

-Topic 1: Krystal

this month will be a really busy, starting with the simple fact what it's the Krystal Appreciation month,

it means to return of a iconic character again for SFM!

The production will start from 10 of August, i had some issues with the Foxes the whole past month and barely able to keep a track with the animation and rigging curse, i hope 10 days will be enough to make a proper rig to be worked in Blender as well with SFM releases :3

for now the stuff will be as planned previously

-Krystal will be free but with basic cosmetics (only loincloth) but all features in the body

-Patreons will have more Cosmetic options (SpaceSuit and other goodies) aswell a whole new character *Miyu* and his cloths

- Krystal will be priority for the month and Miyu probably be finished some days later

-All August Patreons will receive a copy of the model independently if they will still pledging or not

Its important to mention the character will be a complete rebuild, another important stuff and will impact of the Miyu production time, both will be separate models and both heads will be builded from scratch trying to be most unique as possible :3

-Patreon rewards:

im have some conflict with the lasts methods to release models, the Main issue its i can't guarantee distribute my models in a comfortable way and don't get them leaked so im considering getting back to the old Password protected files

Why?

As you noticed with the Hosternfaux Pack these ones wasn't given with the Splitted VMTs im completely aware what a huge pack like that are filled of LOTS of files and lots of potential bugs, and even i was updating the core file in these days fixing some bugs, i will advice when most of the important bugs was fixed but can feel free to check out the links provided and download the last version :3

also in models like freya and Sly this its really complex since everyone have a vital piece of the model what cant be updated so easily,... that was maded to prevent leakers get the models but too make almost impossible update the models since all these pieces can be changed to make the whole model work correctly

what drive me into the question if it's worth make my life and patreon ones more complex for just prevent the models gets leaked, many had lots of troubles getting the model, others don't receive the models properly o had to waits hours or sometimes days to receive them, impacting negatively in my distribution method

I will try to go back to the previous way of "pledge and download" sistem to make future models more easy to get w/o need to claim for the files

also some security methods will be used to prevent the models directly posted in Yiff Party,
Probably a automated way to sent passwords to the users or link all to a external page what requires the patreon access. for now the idea its just make the rewards getting more accessible since its kinda hard to deal with sent all manually, leading maybe some people who dont had his rewards.

Pricing and Blend files:

two years ago i increased the pledge from 10 USD to 15 and in that time probably gonna increase the price of the pledge,

For luck, the time passes and the amount of patrons and the amount of content for new patreons + the release ratio still perfectly working
so i don't see reasons to increase or change the prices of the current delivered files and rewards in a loooooooong time :3

However, one of the plans in the future its deliver a perfectly functional Blend file dedicated for Blender users, Actually the blend ones delivered are the model in the Raw Blend state however it requires lots of setups to work with them inside of blender, that is because its the last saved state from SFM port work so its more intended for SFM source files than for Blender internal rendering, one of my objectives of this year its delivers Blender dedicated files with some other setups to make them look a bit better in blender along with a custom Blender rig

also that means more time invested on a model and more work to work in a specific, that maybe lead into a increased price for blender dedicated models, However i will analize how much time will take grab a model and port it to runs smooth in Blender and if its viable option too,

in all chases i don't gonna make them cost more of 20 USD XD but all rely on how well gonna do it, probably gonna release the firsts blend along with SFM models and Resources and depending of the reception it will increase them slowly into a Different pledge. for Blender specific users,

Independently of that, SFM and resources (Raw Blend) will be in the Same 15 USD


HOSTERN FAUX

That damn pack was a pain for some weeks, and even then dont accomplished all the proper task, the whole package will be released for free in november, however i will try to make to polish some small issues along time,

Also the pack will be received some similar small updates in the future, with maybe less content but at least don't gonna kill my whole time again with projects like this, models like yennsee and shawn will receive more content for themselves in a future too, aswell some of the future props for other similar model will have a variant to be fitted in the hostenfauxs too
