2025-02-02 03:34:28 +0000 UTCI think there's a further rationale for the US military in banning service members from using TikTok: soldiers are dumb and given a long enough timescale will film themselves doing a crime. They've been trying to keep a lid on stuff like all the abuse at Fort Liberty (nรฉe Bragg) for years, and that's before you get to anything happening overseas. The PR risk probably feels pretty astronomical.
