To be honest, if I had listened to the interview without being told it was Cybersmith/the human slave guy, I would not have distinguished him from Sargon. Both are incredibly stupid individuals who strike me as nazi simps with interesting sexual proclivities... I am shocked that he forced his way through that interview given the contempt he had for you guys.

Just a correction about Hatsune Miku, it is the name of the first artificial voice of a vocal synthesis software released in the late 00's. It allow you to use it's voice as a virtual instrument. I do not think any machine learning is used in the software, just good old Japanese craftsmanship in electronic instruments. Also it seems weird that the reason they sell there souls is to access a software that prevent there real face to be displayed. I'm pretty sure you can do some sort of motion capture without any risk, I mean, star citizen can do it on top of a famously hardware intensive game.

Great episode; as someone who watches vtuber streams you got a lot of the broad strokes about the scene down even if you got some of the smaller details wrong (pronunciations, where certain talents went after graduating, etc.) Was truly wild seeing this rather niche subculture explode into the mainstream with the wizard game drama.
