In the old Sylvia Manor, Sixx encounters a paranormal entity that mistakes her for it's owner. Despite the heartfelt reunion, the moment sours quickly as the mysterious tome turns against Sixx and insists on keeping her in the abandoned estate. Before she knows it, the book binds her up and seals her in a large painting, putting her up in an embarrassing display on the wall.
I wanted to do something bigger for Halloween again. I don't think this tops the mannequin piece from 2022, but I'm still pretty happy with it. Once again, it just took too dang long to finish, and I found myself burning out pretty quickly. I just kept redrawing panels, not getting the right posing, not framing everything correctly, so on. I decided today that I just needed to power through and finish this, even if it meant cutting a few more corners than I would have liked. It was more stressful than it needed to be, I know I should have started sooner, but the idea just didn't come to me.
Included the big portrait from the last panel as a standalone piece, because it's the best part. Enjoy the bonus!
