Thank you all for showing so much interest during this first week. It has motivated me a lot. Maybe too much!
We are starting to be a community where we can push to get more of these games faithfully convert to modern hardware so they won't die out. I have received a lot of support this week and although I understand that people do it because they love these games and technology, I was thinking how to give back more. Starting from the 1942 core I will include a pause key for all cores. During pause the screen will switch to a credits image, rendered with the core hardware. I will use that screen to show appreciation to patrons and to people who have contributed in some way to producing that core (providing hardware or helping in some way). I will change the core license so the pause screen has to be respected in core ports to other systems.
I will deploy the 1942 core this week. Initially for MiST and soon after for MiSTer and ZX-UNO. After that, I would like to have the first talk with the director patrons to decide which core to do next. My intention is to stick to CAPCOM pre-CPS1 cores for a while, but there are many to choose from! In the image you can see a Trojan board I have acquired to reverse engineer it.
And I want to stress my commitment with core fidelity. I know you do not want an emulator. You want the real thing and that is what I will always work towards.

Me he sentido desbordado de emoción.
