March 2020 Update

Hello everyone!

Before I get going, I've separated the comic catch-up post and the monthly update. I think it helps out everyone if the update is available to all tiers. The comic catch-up is still only available to $5 tier supporters

To start off here's the monthly render report:

71 renders were made to comprise this month's pin-ups, short stories, and comic pages.

An additional 182 renders were made to comprise an animation created this month.

This is a great improvement from last month and brings me to where I'd like to be at on a consistent basis. I attribute this to the creation of a work calendar for myself. It has helped provide some structure on where I need to be on a daily basis with my work as well as a weekly basis. 

As well I worked on some library maintenance this month that 'should' allow me to queue up renders before I go to sleep so I don't have to waste time babysitting the rendering process during the day.

For my $3 & $5 patrons, you will have noticed that the result of this is that I've been back to posting comics. I apologize for the delay the past few months and you have my immense thanks fo the patience.

So for some personal updates.

This past month was just as bad as the previous, but thanks to my work calendar I've been able to manage my time more effectively as I did some ride share. Unfortunately with the way things are with the COVID-19, ride share things have dried up as well as I need to be careful about exposure.

I don't have high hopes for April showing alleviation from the pressure, but I do believe working at my art will eventually bring that relief.

I guess that's really the end of a personal updates; I'm trying not to sulk on it to much and instead try to be more proactive.

To help out a bit, I will be doing another grow drive soon, and this will be part of the continuing story with Samantha.

As well, along with my short stories, I've been toying with the idea of captioned images. My short stories have developed, in some cases, to be longer form stories. They have ended up taking more and more of my time, so captioned images will be a way to show smaller vignettes for some of my characters.

The plan for the beginning of April is to start showing some of these captioned images.
