How do rewards work here?

There's been a small number of new or upgraded $20 patreons since the beginning of the month who are not happy they did not get the link to the v0.4 of the game yet.

So let me explain the rationale here. The rewards for a given month are based on the amount pledged AND processed the month before (ie: on the 1st of a month). It is the only way to ensure that the rewards go to those who actually paid.

I've had, since the beginning of the month,  over a dozen "new" $20 patreons, who, when I clicked on their names from gmail to "send them a private message", had become "former patreons". Some, literally within minutes. These people clearly never had the intention of keeping their pledges... They are what we call "leechers", moving from one patreon page to the next, pledging, plundering, then unpledging. I don't want to reward these people. 

Now I understand that not everyone can keep pledging $20 every month and I certainly am not asking that of yous. I will therefore clearly state in advance every month what is the reward for the next month so you can adjust your tier in that respect. I will also adjust, to the best of my ability, the private links sent to patreons based on their past pledges (for example, I will send the link tomorrow to $10 processed patreons, but also to those who paid $5 both months of the existence of this patreon page...)

SO, for NEXT MONTH, the reward will be achievements available on day04. It will NOT BE v0.5 of the game (no way it will be ready by then, I'm still tackling personalized renders for $20 patreons - as well as de-bugging the game which is increasingly complex as you will soon all find out!)

All versions of the game eventually become publicly available. So you're not "losing" anything by not being a $20 patreon on a particular month, except "time" really, which, is peanuts compared to the amount of work and time it took for whatever version of the game to come out.

Remember that patreon is about supporting the development of a game you enjoy, or thanking a dev for his hard work (if you feel he deserves it of course) and not really about "getting a link"!
