2025-01-25 17:03:33 +0000 UTCIf it wasn’t mentioned in the comments for episode 4x2, there is a monument in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, called the Shot at Dawn Memorial, commemorating the 309 men and boys who were executed for “cowardice”, now believed to be PTSD. They were posthumously pardoned by Parliament under the Armed Forces Act 2006.
