Hey! I'm sorry to bother you but I'm looking for this livestream you did about the Cuties video, where Jessie Gender showed up? I caught it live and I'd like to watch it again. Thank you! 💖

UUUUG you made SO many amazing points in this video!! Growing up in the christian religion, this idea of being 'humble' was drilled into me SO HARD. (Remember the literal trash-fire that is the book rainbow fish???) Being told that my sexual, intellectual, physical and in every other thing about me was something I need to under express so as to never make anyone 'feel bad about themselves', while also offering anything I had/that was special up for consumption by the community was the main message. Watching how this happens literally EVERYWHERE in our culture ASSIDE FROM towards white, cis, straight males... makes it so obvious what's actually going on here. Our culture is fully structured around the patriarchy having all the power, and making sure that everyone else either feels inferior to that standard of the patriarchy or is then abused by the patriarchy and we are all supposed to believe that that abuse was earned/justified. What you say about people not growing in the soil they were planted in and that our emotions are the keys to us really seeing what's going on here (within ourselves and others) that is HUGE. That is literally the key as I see it. What's normal we may not be able to intellectually understand as being wrong/painful because they are so NORMAL to us and we are indoctrinated - but our BODIES and EMOTIONS can't lie. There's pain and there's pain for a reason. Also what you said about how this patriarchal system has abused all of us - I wonder how many men out there would really benefit from being allowed to experience the feeling of being beautiful? Tender? Desired? Cared for? Seen as vulnerable and that not being bad? The fact that they have been cut off from these experiences due to the power structure - it's truly fucking all of us. Humility is, for the most part, a manipulation as far as I can tell. You really hit on it here. Look deeper people, there's more to see here.... <3
