Ren'Py 8.0.3 and 7.5.3 Released
Added 2022-09-11 00:14:46 +0000 UTCI'm pleased to announce the releases of Ren'Py 8.0.3 and 7.5.3. These releases upgrade the Android support to support Android 13 and Play Billing 5, adjust how modal timers and pauses work, and add Ukrainian translations of the Tutorial game and The Question. Unfortunately, I think I spoke too soon on this one. Looks like the crashes haven't improved all the way, just in some cases. Not sure what to do about this, but might start keeping a list of "banned" devices for Google Play, since I wonder if this is an issue with the .aab in general (I almost never get complaints about the .apk) https://gyazo.com/5bbadc1e37049d2554c0276a41477b74

I don't know if you remember, but I'm DarkChibiShadow (DCS) and I had brought up some of the android issues the last few months-- well, I'm happy to report I finally got to update one of my mobile versions with the new Ren'py and even after just 24 hours, you can see the crash report already starting to go down.
