Selecting Images to Show
Added 2018-05-31 02:57:32 +0000 UTCMay's article, on how Ren'Py selects images to show, has been posted. Now that layered images are a thing (at least in the prereleases), I'd expect more complex combinations of image attributes to become a bit more popular. This article shows how you can omit some of the attributes, to make your script shorter and clearer as to what has changed.
So, what's up with the cat? He's Mickey, a neighborhood cat that hangs out on my porch. Despite being about images, I couldn't think of a good way to illustrate this article - so I decided to make him a star.
