Our next article is up! For the past week or so, I've been working on improving the support for hyperlinks in Ren'Py. It's gone from something that was really only useful for linking to external websites to something that games can use internally. (Or at least it will be once 6.99.13 is released. The last section is so new, you'll have to wait until tomorrow to get it in the nightly!) The new article covers how to use the new hyperlink support to make a wiki-like glossary or codex, where links can take you from one article to another.
Once again, thank you for your support! Writing these articles is beneficial, as it helps me to see opportunities for improvement within Ren'Py. Many of the new features I introduce here, like the _p function, only exist because I was able to take the time to work out a full example for all of you. I'm considering a second article on how to use hyperlink features inside of games, so let me know if you'd be interested in that. Your generous support contributes to making Ren'Py better, and I'm thankful for it.
