The next article is available for you to read. This one is an extended version of the Character Object section of the new Ren'Py tutorial. By breaking it out of the tutorial, we're able to add more background information and go into a lot more detail. This version has coverage of many of the most important style properties associated with Characters, which should help you get a leg up on making dialogue in your visual novel look unique.
In Ren'Py development news, I've been busy with finishing up the new tutorial, and integrating the Interactive Director into Ren'Py proper. In the next release of Ren'Py (or the nightly builds), you'll be able to invoke the director by pressing the D key. The Interactive Director lets you add or change images, transitions, and audio from inside Ren'Py itself, rather than by using a text editor and reloading.
Finally, we're going to lock down this month's Patreon rewards on Tuesday the 11th. You can use this form to update your information, if necessary. Thank you again for sponsoring Ren'Py.
