Bianca quick update & exchange 3x tokens: minimum order size lesson
Added 2021-09-15 11:12:09 +0000 UTCAs I mentioned in the past weeks I've been testing Bianca with real money but a very small amount. I've been running it with 5 max active deals of 10 USDT each.When Bitcoin when from 52K to 43K, 3 out of the 5 positions where below the minimum that the exchange allows to trade which is actually 10 therefore it wasn't able to close the deals when it received the sell signal.
I have changed my Bianca DCA bot to use 3 max active deals of 20 USDT each. So now Bianca has 60 USDT in total.
Unfortunately this situation invalidated the tests as I would have like to contrast the losses from a correction against the potential upcoming bullish market. The whole idea is to prove that even with the losses this bot in the long term can make huge profits.
We started this test while we were starting to get loads of bearish daily divergences on BTC so I was conscious that the first scenario this bot would have was going to be quick adverse, so I was a bit greedy and ended up giving too little to my bot...lesson learned!
So take mental note;
If you trade 3X leverage tokens and give the minimum size to each order the bot might not be able to close the deal when the price goes against you as the size would below the minimum size to trade in the exchange.
This type of bots take a lot of patience (and money) to test! I still have big expectations from this bot and would love to be able to run a proper 1 to 2 months of test that include corrections and pumps and everything to see how it really performs.
