I think it's normal and expected to see a pull back like today. It was way overdue. Only BTC can go for so long with greed and not have a day of rest for so long...rally non stop. We are kind of getting spoiled. Indicators stop making sense after a while, literally all indicators were saying it was enough. Not just the greed index. I was tired if hearing every single youtube influencer we might go up or we might go down because we are overdue...Moonin Papa stop hunting alert was the most accurate this time. IT predicted the dump just in time (paid signal). Last year when it triggered 2 days before the drop during November it also predicted, but actually there was a second drop even bigger...which reminded me that there can be always a second wave!

I see what you mean. On the other hand I think the index has pointed towards a break down (greed) for quite some time and it would have been terrible to have pulled out to early and missed out on substantial gains. I guess it is an indicator that has to be used with other indicators before jumping out of a trade. 31.000 usd seems strong resistance right now but if we loose it we could drop significantly or what is your take on it?

Today’s drop is a consequence of the extreme level of greed. A pull back was way overdue. I bought more during the dip. Can there be further dips, absolutely. But I won’t pull out on BTC, I’m very bullish for 2021. This indicator helps increasing your awareness of when pullbacks are more likely to happen. For example 94% compared to entering a long term holding at 60%
