Update - March 2021 - Patreon Changes

Hey Everyone

Thank you again for the support last month and for continuning to support me during what has been a very difficult start to 2022. While I had an excellent holiday (and a much needed one) that has really been the only positive so far.

My partner is still very unwell, there's geopolitical crises everywhere and I have writers block. It's a horrendous combination of impacts on my mental health that is making it difficult to consistently put out content in the way I did in 2020 and 2021. I have had to have support from friends to ensure I don't spiral completely and have been struggling in my full-time job to stay focussed, which is impacting my standard of work there.

As such, I'm going to change the tier rewards to better reflect what I can promise going forward from April. I'm going to track what I currently owe and keep that logged so I can, hopefully, eventually catch up to it. But for now, it makes very little sense to promise what I cannot give.

From April 1st the $5 tier will be "access to the stories I am able to publish during the month, a minimum of 1 3000 piece and hopefully more" while the $10 tier will provide "access to the audiobook of a single story per month". This gives me some leeway if I *can* publish more work but doesn't promise new and current patreons things I cannot currently provide.

As such, I completely understand if you want to reduce or cancel your tier from April onwards. Many of you have stated that you will support me regardless, and of course I appreciate that, but it's important that I do not make promises I cannot keep and adjust to changes in my personal life to ensure I don't also feel so pressured by Patreon that I burn out and can't do anything.
