hello patrons! just want to send out some important info and expectations regarding this Patreon so y'all know what's up, and just say a huge thank you for all of the support this year! it's been amazing so far posting to this Patreon and being in the server, and after working out a lot of kinks I know that 2025 will be even better!

GENERAL UPDATES

Steven and I will be taking a short hiatus from this page for the rest of December 2024, (expect for posting the january sticker of the month preview) so there will be no posts, art updates, or events until January 6th, 2025. We will still be lurking around the server and might chat a bit but we have a lot of family plans for the week of Christmas and New Years so if you don't hear from us, we're probably in a hot cocoa rush, chatting awkwardly with a distant relative trying to explain what we do for a living.

STICKER CLUB UPDATES:

January's Sticker Design will be posted soon! I am currently drafting the design and will post it ASAP so you guys can see the design before the month starts.

We will be packing the December Stickers on the week of January 6th, and will keep you updated throughout the process and if there are any delays because holidays and manufacturers.

CANADIAN MEMBERS

Due to the strike recently ending, the Canada Post will start accepting international mail on December 23rd, so your November AND December stickers will be sent out the week we get back to work (January 6th-10th). <3

2025 Goals + Plans

Just some general outlines and goals I have for art and posting this year! I am hoping to achieve most of these things but I am sure some things may or may not happened or get delayed because life. With the combined brain power of me, Steven, and help from our awesome moderators, we may have enough time and energy to achieve most of them ! >:D

Art/Comic Plans and Ideas

• Goal: Y2K Witch Part 1 to be released late January or February (with accompanying YouTube video)

  • It will of course be posted here for paid members first! I have future plans of creating a Webcomic site for all of my stories posted for free, but all initial updates will be posted here to paid members <3 Y2K Witch will be posted in parts (idk how many there will be, but I would like to finish most of her story in 2025!)

• Goal: Continue Drawing Everyday

  • I was able to draw everyday for 2024 and that consistency really mattered to me in my hardest moments throughout the year, so I want to carry it into 2025 to continue to grow and develop a healthy creative mindset.

• Goal: 1 Painting per month

  • Because of comics taking up more of of my time and how things went in 2024 with trying to make painting a week, this is a much more sustainable approach! Each painting/painting project will most likely have a video associated with it for YouTube, and posted initially to paid members. Another idea I have is also letting you guys vote on what I paint next so that it could take away some of the decision paralysis I have lol.

• Sketchbook Tours coming soon??

  • I haven't posted a sketchbook tour to my channel in over a year, and I currently have about 4 sketchbooks full of my scribbles to share first with paid members. You guys have already seen a lot of my most recent one so let me know if you are interested!

Discord Server Plans

• 2 Livestreams per month

  • I think it would be cool to continue the Monthly Sketchbook Club Livestreams, and Monthly Art Study Livestreams (figure drawing, composition studies, painting studies) on a more consistent basis. We also might start dabbling in some moderator hosted streams to add more fun to the server while still keeping the workload manageable for myself. (Watch parties and casual draw along sessions, fun stuff!)

• Server Suggestions 

  • Steven and I are always open to suggestions regarding new channels, events, or features we could add to the server so please let us know in the Server Suggestions Channel on the Discord.

• Switching to Monthly Sketchbook Prompts

  • As I continued the club each week, I realized that doing the prompts on a weekly basis was a little too overwhelming for myself and after chatting with some of you during the most recent livestream, we came to an agreement to switch to a monthly schedule for 2025. I hope this can give us a bit more time and space to dedicate to each prompt <3

YouTube Plans

• At least 2 videos/month

  • To keep things simple and attainable for Steven and I, I want to post an edited down/commentary version of the Study Livestream that we do each month, and a more project focused video (pertaining to my own characters/stories or redrawing some of my favorite media/making fanart). So 1 project based video, and one casual draw with me/edited livestream style video per month :)

• Patreon Shoutout in videos!

  • I want to start giving you guys on screen shout-out's in my videos because I literally could not continue to do this without you guys! They will either be mid-way through a video or at the end depending on the vibe. :DDD

• Charity Summer Stream

  • One of the biggest goals for my channel is to continue to post uplifting and encouraging work for other creatives and people in general, and with how this past year has gone, it's been on my mind for a while to give back to communities in my country and internationally and use my platform to benefit others. I have some really fun plans for a charity stream and really want this to happen and try to do it annually <3

Online Shop

• Prospective Opening Date: Late March 2025

  • My online shop was closed all of 2024 due to devoting more time to creative exploration and skill development over product design and selling my work, so I am really excited to open my shop again this year with some help from Steven! I'm thinking about using Shopify in conjunction with my own Wordpress site but we'll see! Paid members will definitely get early access to everything I make <3

Patreon Plans

• Mid- 2025 Start a Monthly Print Tier???

  • I would love to be able to start a monthly patron print tier sometime in 2025 after the first shop drop! I have a fun idea of a dnd/fantasy inspired illustration for each month that would go along with the monthly sticker design. But we will see if I have the bandwidth for it on top of everything else! :'}

Thank you all so much for joining my Patreon during this first couple of months of starting this platform! 2024 was a year of a lot of trial and error, trying new things, failing a lot, and finding little wins of success here and there. It's been so much fun getting to pack stickers again and have a smaller audience to share things with.

And I can say without a shadow of a doubt the most I feel proud of is the community of artists that have joined the server and experiencing how encouraging and supportive all of you are. This latter half of the year was really difficult for me creatively for a numerous amount of reasons, but seeing all of your work, your kind words, your passion, and your willingness to help others, including myself, see the good in what they do and to keep doing it, was so important to me this year.

Your support for my artwork and the content I make means so much to me, especially during this past quieter period of art and videos for me and struggling with mental health and physical health. I am so excited for 2025 and I can't wait to keep on creating and sharing my art with all of you, talking about your sketchbook responses, goofing around in livestreams, and bringing a bit of joy into your day <3
