How many more GGO2 rounds?
Added 2024-12-02 19:51:44 +0000 UTCAs I mentioned here, I wanted to get some opinions on how much longer you think the GGO2 should go on for. (This is of course assuming that Joh is never going to lose a round.)

That is true, I think at this point the places are kind of static. Also, I do want to say that I think you did a very good job and most all of the decisions you made throughout worked well in the end. In addition, I think there were a lot of trial and error things learned from this that might help in any future similar stuff too, if any. For instance: - I think the "half" rounds were good ideas for helping determine stuff vote wise with only a few at the end (but only so much can be done versus just SUPER popularity *cough* Joh *cough* ๐). Though maybe not from the beginning just near the end. -I actually really liked the idea of the ranked voting and growth toward 2 at a time with it, which I think would have been really neat earlier, or even just from the outset for future stuff (if any). Maybe even like 2 votes for main, 1 vote for 2nd too (but that might be a bit much). -Definitely love the increased growth amount each round in everything (free and donation ones) that you have been doing in more recent rounds, maybe do that a bit from the beginning and ramp up slowly as we go (just an idea) in the future -I actually liked that the tiers on Patreon do not affect the votes as much now and just add more growth for stuff like this (matching the amount to donation amount was a good move too) -I think sticking to the fewer main sites like you are doing now and just having more growth earned at them was a better idea than having so many extra sites like before (it did get kinda rough to go to so many all the time as it went on ๐ ) Oh, and both comment AND questions allowed for the extra growth and votes helped too I think.

2024-12-02 21:26:07 +0000 UTCI'm leaning towards 2 myself. I don't want to screw over people who thought that Erika was getting a free round and thus didn't vote for her. I mean, I very much doubt that happened but it's still better to err on the side of caution. Also if we didn't have a "half" round like round 6.5 then with two more rounds we'd *technically* be at round 12

2024-12-02 20:21:39 +0000 UTCUnless there is a huge change in voting, I think 2 more would be good personally. 3 might be okay cause that would make it a nice even round or 12th as the final haha. But definitely not more than 3 I think at this point.
