CAS: Natural Fingernails as Skin Details

I realized that I don't actually like this as much as I thought I would in practice and will not be updating or improving upon it. I will leave it up for anyone who wants it, but that's it.

This is not something I expected to make, but I was disappointed that the new fingernails are accessories only and not something you can set a default for. So I made a makeshift version which is the next best thing.

These Basegame nails appear in Skin Details: Forehead (so you may have to sacrifice some wrinkles for them) and work for Toddler-Elder of all genders. I started with the 2 most natural colors from the EA nails and worked from there, but I'm sure they still won't look perfect with every skintone. I'll continue to Photoshop some extra colors as I play and see what's needed.

As for wearing nail polish over these, the Basegame accessory nails cover them without a problem, but the "Stiletto" and "Almond" shaped Spa Day ones don't cooperate unfortunately, nor do the Ebonix nails. So if you're planning on using the fancy nails for a specific sim you may just have to stick with accessories instead of this version.

Known issues

• As mentioned above, these are not compatible with all the Spa Day nails. If you get a fancy manicure and see your original nails clipping through, don't say I didn't warn you.

The meshes are EA's but the color Photoshopping is my own. On the off-chance you want to use these textures for something just ask. I'll probably just ask you to credit me.

Downloads

The zip contains both the short nails as the main download and an addon for the long nails that are Child-Elder only. The main one isn't technically required since the long one doesn't require anything from it to function but if you don't use the main one your Toddlers can't have default fingernails.
