I think a lot of people's negativity towards season 8 and onwards is simply because the Garvey's are no longer with us. And for that reason the Dawson's are frowned upon by many. It goes without saying that the Garvey's are legends of the show, but the Dawson's are great in their own right. I just feel a lot of people have a downer on the later seasons (without actually giving it a chance) because of the switch of families. Great reaction as always Kevin.
