One reader pointed out how throughout this scene, there gets to be more and more specks throughout the page, implying a more sinister undertone throughout. While I didn't actively think that while I was making these pages, I do think that I kind of instinctively did that as I created the pages. This information isn't supposed to be pleasant for Rosemary to receive, and adding the texture of ink spray helps get that across a little more accurately.

I've mentioned this before, but all of the inking is done by hand rather than digitally. So, the ink sprays are actual ink sprays and drops. The big blood splotch behind Vivianne on page 6.24 is MASSIVE and thick, and I had to roll the page around a bunch to get it to look okay. (also there's a lot of white out on that page where the ink accidentally went over things I didn't want it to, haha)
